  "text": "List provided for in Article 72\nINTRODUCTION\nWhen the acts referred to in this Annex contain notions or refer to procedures which are specific to the Community legal order, such as:\npreambles;\nthe addressees of the Community acts;\nreferences to territories or languages of the EC;\nreferences to rights and obligations of EC Member States, their public entities, undertakings or individuals in relation to each other; and\nreferences to information and notification procedures;\nProtocol 1 on horizontal adaptations shall apply, unless otherwise provided for in this Annex.\nSECTORAL ADAPTATIONS\nFor the purposes of this Annex and notwithstanding the provisions of Protocol 1, the term ‘Member State(s)’ contained in the acts referred to shall be understood to include, in addition to its meaning in the relevant EC acts, Austria, Finland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.\nACTS REFERRED TO\n1.\n379 L 0581: Council Directive 79/581/EEC of 19 June 1979 on consumer protection in the indication of the prices of foodstuffs (OJ No L 158, 26.6.1979, p. 19), as amended by:\n388 L 0315: Council Directive 88/315/EEC of 7 June 1988 (OJ No L 142, 9.6.1988, p. 23).\n2.\n384 L 0450: Council Directive 84/450/EEC of 10 September 1984 relating to the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States concerning misleading advertising (OJ No L 250, 19.9.1984, p. 17).\n3.\n385 L 0577: Council Directive 85/577/EEC of 20 December 1985 to protect the consumer in respect of contracts negotiated away from business premises (OJ No L 372, 31.12.1985, p. 31).\n4.\n387 L 0102: Council Directive 87/102/EEC of 22 December 1986 for the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States concerning consumer credit (OJ No L 42, 12.2.1987, p. 48), as amended by:\n390 L 0088: Council Directive 90/88/EEC of 22 February 1990 (OJ No L 61, 10.3.1990, p. 14).\nThe provisions of the Directive shall, for the purposes of the present Agreement, be read with the following adaptation:\nin Articles 1a(3)(a) and (5)(a), the date 1 March 1990 is replaced by the date 1 March 1992.\n5.\n387 L 0357: Council Directive 87/357/EEC of 25 June 1987 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning products which, appearing to be other than they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers (OJ No L 192, 11.7.1987, p. 49).\nThe provisions of the Directive shall, for the purposes of the present Agreement, be read with the following adaptation:\nin Article 4(2), the reference to Decision 84/133/EEC shall be read as a reference to Decision 89/45/EEC.\n6.\n388 L 0314: Council Directive 88/314/EEC of 7 June 1988 on consumer protection in the indication of the prices of non-food products (OJ No L 142, 9.6.1988, p. 19).\n7.\n390 L 0314: Council Directive 90/314/EEC of 13 June 1990 on package travel, package holidays and package tours (OJ No L 158, 23.6.1990, p. 59).\nACTS OF WHICH THE CONTRACTING PARTIES SHALL TAKE NOTE\nThe Contracting Parties take note of the content of the following acts;\n8.\n388 X 0590: Commission Recommendation 88/590/EEC of 17 November 1988 concerning payment systems and in particular the relationship between cardholder and card issuer (OJ No L 317, 24.11.1988, p. 55).\n9.\n388 Y 0611(01): Council Resolution 88/C 153/01 of 7 June 1988 on consumer protection in the indication of the prices of foodstuffs and non-food products (OJ No C 153, 11.6.1988, p. 1).",
